We have a heartbeat!!

I am so relieved! We couldn't hear the heartbeat, but we saw it. It was flickering pretty quickly on the screen! The doctor said that now our chances of miscarriage are only 5%, so we have a 95% chance that this baby will be fine.

They said the baby was measuring 7 weeks, so they adjusted my due date to Feb 9, 2007.

And we have just ONE baby in there! There was a lot of talk of multiples since my betas have been so high.

Our next u/s is July 17th, at which I'll be 10w3d. I am so amazed there is life growing inside of me!

3rd beta results in...

Here's the recap on my betas so far...

1st beta @ 14dpo/iui on June 1- 294
2nd beta @18dpo/iui on June 5 - 1436
3rd beta @ 22dpo/iui on June 9 - 8884

My numbers are more than doubling every 48hrs, so I'm happy! I am still surprised that we only saw one sac on my 1st u/s on Friday at 5w1d - b/c of the high betas I really expected to see two in there! But like someone told me, there could still be another one in there that we couldn't see yet. Either way, one or two, the numbers are good and I'm happy either way!

I am still amazed that I can call myself "pregnant". I never thought I'd be on the other side of infertility.

Had our 1st u/s today to see baby!

Just got back from our 1st ultrasound and we could only see one sac, so it looks like only one baby for now, although they said it was possible we may have identical twins, but it's still too early to tell for now since the baby is still less than 2mm big. I had my blood drawn again today to check my levels again. Should have results later today.

Our next ultrasound is at 7 weeks on June 23rd and then another one at 9 weeks on July 10th.

We're both pretty excited!!

I can't believe this....I'm pregnant!

(written June 1st, but forgot to post here til today)

This is so surreal. I went in for my 1st beta today (14dpo/iui) and they just called w/the results....I AM PREGNANT. My beta today was 294 and progesterone was 43 but I'm on PIO shots for LPD. Jesus, I can't believe I'm typing this. I've dreamed about posting a BFP post, but really was starting to think it would never happen. My mind is racing and my hands are shaking. I want to tell my husband in person, he should be home 2 1/2 hrs. OMG!!! BTW...I have no symptoms and my temps were droping so I thought for sure this cycle was a bust.

I go in on Monday for a 2nd beta and then go in on the 9th for an u/s. I'm in shock.

This was our 23rd cycle TTC. We've been TTC since Sept 2004. I had an HSG that showed blocked tubes, had 2 lap/hyst, just had a septum removed (this was our 1st cycle TTC since having septum removed), this was my 6th Clomid cycle and my 2nd IUI w/HCG trigger shots. And I've been on PIO shots in my 2ww for LPD b/c oral and vaginal supplements never worked for me.

This is like a dream.....! My EDD is 2/8/07
