Turns out I did have a septum; it was taking up 2/3's of my uterus! And my RE removed a polyp near the opening of one of my tubes too. I'm on CD14 waiting for this cycle to be over so we can TTC again. We do our 2nd IUI w/Clomid in May (the 1st IUI since my last surgery). I'm anxious to get on w/the show.
I've had this incredible need for a baby for so long, that I finally talked my husband into getting a 3rd dog. So we added a sweet, tiny, puppy to our family on Easter evening. Her name is Lola and she is a 2.4 lb, 8 wk old Chihuahua. We found her from an add in the paper and she is such a sweetie. I think she will be a good distraction for me, and maybe even good mojo. That's a pic of her from her 1st night home w/us. I think my husband may be more smitten w/her than me!
My business is going well. Not too busy, so that I have time for taking care of the house and my husband and keeping in touch w/friends. I am trying to drum up new business though, in case we need a lot of extra money for IVF later this year.
I haven't been dwelling on everyone else's lives and what they have and what I don't have...yada yada yada.... I'm just focusing on me and us and taking one day at a time.
Got some new test results in, I am sugar/carb intolerant. So I've cut both from my diet and have lost 4 lbs in the 1st week. I thought this would be really hard, but it's been easier for me than I thought. Twice now since I started this, I've been at a Mexican restaurant and had a basket of chips and dip in front of me and DIDN'T touch one chip! Amazing...simply amazing.
I think that's it for now, I'll post when I've got more to talk about...
