Aidan is ONE today!

Our little boy turned ONE today! Our sweet, little Valentine's Day miracle. He's had a good day so far. Ray's parents drove down from Minnesota last night to be here for the event and he's having fun with them. His birthday party is on Saturday. I've been watching the weather and it's a 90% chance of severe thunderstorms and a high of 55. So, I've had to cancel the reservation I had for the inflatable jumparoo for the back yard. Boo! I was so excited to get that for Aidan. O well, guess I'll have to rent it for him another time when the weather is good.

New hair cut for mama

Once again, I was back in pony tail mode and not liking it. So I went for a drastic, trendy cut that I've had my eye on for a while. I copied Jenny McCarthy's cut from when she was on Oprah talking about vaccines and Autism. I LOVE this cut! It's so easy to manage. I wash it and style it and I'm good for 3-4 days. So much easier!

We are busy getting ready for Aidan's first birthday party this weekend. We're so excited about it. My in-laws are driving down to be here too.

My BFF April, just had her 2nd baby, another son. His name is Gavin. He was born at 36wks via emergency c-section due to preeclampsia. Thankfully, he did not need to go to the NICU; he weighed 6lbs 11oz, 22in. I saw them today and he is just beautiful and April is so calm and happy.
