Aidan's 6mo stats

Aidan is 6 months old today! He had his 6mo appt w/his pedi and had to get 4 more shots today too. :( He took them like a big boy and stopped crying as soon as they were over. Here are his stats as of today...

Weight: 16 lbs 8 oz, 25-50th percentile
Length: 27 inches, 75th percentile (he's going to be tall! He's up 3 inches from 2 mos ago)
Head circumfrence: 44 1/2 cm, 50th percentile

He was prescribed Zantac today for his reflux issues. We'll see if that helps him any. We are hoping it will. He spits up so much and I can see from his face that it's not pleasent for him w/all that stomach acid coming up so often.

His favorite thing right now is PAPER! Notepad paper, wrapping paper, tissue paper, any paper. He likes the noise it makes when he sqeezes it and balls it up and waves it around real fast!

Aidan's Baptism

We had Aidan baptized on Sunday at St Thomas More Catholic Church. It was a beautiful day with no rain. His Godparents, Cade and Cory Thornton and their son CJ, drove down from the Dallas area to be here for his special day. They are expecting their second child, a girl, due in November. We really appreciated them driving down for this. We know it's not easy to pack up and go with a child in tow and pregnant too.

Aidan looked so adorable in his special christening outfit. He was hot, hungry and tired during the ceremony so that did not make for a normally quiet, happy baby, but he did like the water on his head! All in all, it went well. We took lots of pictures and chose one to go with this post.
